The Presentation of the Lord

Today, occidental churches, being Catholic or Orthodox, celebrate the Presentation of the Lord.

Today's Gospel says:

"When the days were completed for their purification according to the law of Moses, Mary and Joseph took Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, just as it is written in the law of the Lord, "Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord," "

May we think about this part of the Law. If Jesus Christ accepted to follow it, it is for sure because it has some importance in our lives. Christ did come to save the World, and to bive the Law its real meaning.

May we consecrate to the Lord each of our first thoughts in the morning, of our actions, of our children.

Befire starting a new job, may we consecrate it to the Lord.

Also when we start a new phase of our life (mariage, or moving, or new position, or mariage of one of our chidren, etc...)

Let the Lord be really present in our lives!
